1. The Cutting Edge

For once in your life
You find something that pulls you through,
Fight for what it’s worth to you,
No matter what it takes–
It’s all you’ll do,
Time and time again, it’s true–
Don’t let it end.
Alright–
Now when you think you will survive,
Then it’s time you realize,
That I’m killing you to hide your pain.
Soon they’ll be nothing left to fear,
And the earth will be wiped clear,
Sucking, dragging life so dear to you.
And when the blade is running deep,
With no secrets left to keep,
Would ya take the chance to fly away.
Forced still to bite the hand that feeds,
A new faith, a time to breed,
We will give you all that you will need.
Life of self destruction–
Hidden in the tomb of no prophecy,
Deep within the lines of humanity,
Starving victims die count’em 1-2-3,
Living on the edge of insanity.
Killed for their birth–
Nothing left to buy, nothing left to sell,
Anything for heaven, anything for hell,
Trading in ideals for some company,
Target for our law’s own tragedy.
I’ve tried not to comprise,
But it’s eating me alive,
Now I fight to stay alive.
Forced still to bite the hand that feeds,
A new faith, a time to breed,
We will give you all that you will need.
When will it end?
(REPEAT PRE-CHORUS)
When you’re ahead, you can’t go to far,
The cutting edge, the cutting edge.
A bed of nails, a halo of scorn,
The cutting edge, the cutting edge.
That’s right!

2. What Evil Brings

I am the watcher in the night,
I’m the flames that will burn bright,
I’m the silence in the wind.
I am the fuse that you ignite,
I’m the voltage rushing high,
I’m the old man with a grin.
I rest in peace inside youe soul,
I’m a habit uncontrolled
Filled with your savage intent.
I’m the adrenalin surge, tell you all to heed my word–
Don’t trust a mind that’s warped and bent.
CHORUS:
No way out, of your abandonment
You have found, just what you’re looking 4
I can see, thru all your disbeliefs
You will know, just what my evil brings
I am the choas at the realm, the captain at the helm,
I’m the dagger in your back.
I am the corpse that slowly rots, the ending of the plot,
I’m your needle, your arm tracks.
I am the sacred chanting word,
I’m the order that’s disturbed and the broken vow estranged.
I am the voice inside your head,
Telling you to jump to death,
I’m unholy and deranged.
(REPEAT CHORUS)

3. Blissful Credence (A View of Hope)

When the judgement day comes, you might be the last in line.
When the hammer falls down, there will be no cloud with a silver line.
When the suffrage conjures, the lasting vote will take no time.
All things considered accord, and you just can’t change your mind.
No.
You’ve been scorned, beaten and jeered–
Do you cry when they cheer?
Should of thought twice about what you did,
Because now the finale is so clear.
Across the land, there’s rapture in the air,
Let’s all join hands, strive on and beware.
Labor in vain, is worthless without you,
So take a stand, that’s all we ask of you.
When the scrutiny ends, and the pledge is too thin
You will know why.
When you’ve lost all of your friends,
You can kiss your ass goodbye.
Fingers will point at you, mark your life so inept.
Down into the gallows hole, soak up all the tears you wept.
You–
You’ve been subdued, you’ve lost all control,
Do you want to change the past?
You were chained to set an example,
Did you think that it would last?
Put to and end, your bereft of life,
The rules you bent, you wont come back alive.
Your final cry, nobody will hear
Convicted and tried, and you’re rid of the fear
That is so near.
A view of hope.
Do you think this world cares when in the midst of distraught.
And will your sanity shake, when the judge is paid off?
When the prosecution rests, are you left ill-at-ease?
They’re only giving you,
They’re only giving you what you need.
(REPEAT VERSE 1)
(REPEAT CHORUS)

4. End of Bickering

On the horizon as far as I can see
Combining wind and dust that blows vigorously,
If you listen closely the tone that you will hear
Is the post-war dream’s reality turning to fear.
Forced by pro-democracy, a movement to give up–
Public protests and reforms, our lives are stemming out.
And as you leer and turn away cuz you can’t take the strain–
Socialism has not failed, and we won’t take pain!
Time is urging you to self-destruct,
A bad mix of values, and no sign of luck.
Denying that we all have failed the test–
This fervor leaves me so frustrated.
It leaves me so open. . .leaves me so cold. . .leaves me so bitter. . .
Leave me alone!
A cry reflects from a land not too far away–
An eagerness to erase all that’s in their way.
What they need most is a system that will work,
Reaffirm our people and take away the hurt.
Fascists and extremists should be locked away–
Visions of the fruitful, imagine it someday!
Arisen from the ranks a tale of the sword–
A time for killing and violence, must be bored.
Act of contrition is a last chance for hope,
The leaders will swing from the rope,
The rope, rope
The rope, rope.
Now, in their eyes, they don’t have time to play.
Now, in their land, a life that I, that I must fake.
Now, in their eyes, they don’t have time to pray.
Now, in their land, will be the end, the end of bickering.
End of bickering.
1-2-3-4
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, heyyyyyyy!

5. Chivalry Infection

How does it feel to be one most counted on?
In a nation of tears, you’ll be the one to keep the peace.
And when you think of hereafter will it be like a hell on earth?
Or will ya rebuck the system and flee the land to save your own skin.
Time runs slow, I hope you know.
Oh fuck, I hope you know.
Press on out in the shadows where the blind can see,
Decide just for your own self, don’t be worried about me.
Time runs slow, I hope you know.
My God, I hope you know.
Act on your primal instincts, how ’bout your mother’s land?
Come back to where your heart is, it’s time you lend a hand.
Can you live with yourself? All alone? Deserted?
Too late. . .
Too late to stop this spreading disease.
You’re a flag-burning, back-stabbing, freedom-grabbing
(And now you’ll pray for the day)
Cheap-thrilling, blood-spilling, hope-killing
(From the games you played).
Freedom, equality, what is left in the land of dreams?
Know when to say when, once again.
There’s no where you can run to,
There’s nothing left for you to prove
Now that it’s got you, let your actions go,
Turn back the hands of time,
Turn back, turn back. . .turn back the hands of time.

6. When Tomorrow Is Today

Up from the filth, I’m a reckless renegade,
Born into a scene that might never fade away–
Look straight-edge, but it’s really just a mask
Step up to the mic if you think you can last.
I’m gonna take your soul away,
I’m gonna watch it burn and melt away–
If you live to see tomorrow’s light,
You’ll be K.O.ed so bad, you won’t wanna stay alive.
I won’t show no mercy, just a craving for your death.
I won’t ask forgiveness, on your life I’d place a bet.
Heaven’s gate so shiny, pearly– I don’t give a fuck–
Twisted beyond recognition, you’re shit outta luck.
Fresh out the box, and here to stay,
Knocking the boot, we’ll put ya in dissarray.
This power-crunchin’ possee fighting off you snapperheads–
Been terrorized, victimized, a life we chose to led.
Don’t piss and moan- cuz we’re just to hot to handle–
We’ll tell you to your face, “Fuck being tempramental!”
No pussy’s attitude with a phone call or a note,
We’ll kill your friends, if you have any,
And on your blood you’ll choke.
We’ve been fooled be4, won’t get fooled again.
Radio and promotors, they say they’re our friends–
Back-stabbing slimeys, with a thirst for pain,
Fucking us 4ever, because of our age.
Driven by desire to make our dreams come true–
All you other possees know what the fuck to do:
Pack up all your shit, cuz if ya leave we’ll let you live
Or here you’ll stay and die, no future’s what I give.
I’m bad to the bone with a voice that’s built to blast,
A villian’s reputation to preach the word so fast.
I’ll say, “What’s Up?” make my snaps, cuz I don’t give a fuck–
The boyz and me have said be4 that you’re shit outta luck.

7. One Stands Alone

Alone whether or not, the sun shall rise, set or fall.
There will always be, a place in heart
Somewhere, someplace, with a knotted soul.
Fall we, yet under stregnth, our weakness comes alone.
Everyone needs something, someone to believe in.
CHORUS: Above the sky, still unknown,
Below the sky, you’re left alone,
Under the ground, who wants to know?
Which way to turn, which way to go.
Certain are few who know what to do,
Dark in the sunlight, who’ll see?
Cross the surge of the bloodflow blue,
Nothing is proven you’ll see.
Help shall not come, you’re on your own,
Alone so scared but yet you’re so free.
You pick you own, you choose your own,
How many of you relate?
Give it a chance, no way it’ll last–
nothing’s forever except…
(REPEAT CHORUS)
You’re running into blackness and there’s no way out,
What’s a blind man to do when the bottle runs out.
So open your eyes, and open your ears,
See what they’re talking about.
If you believe it is you, then your problems are all through
Cuz admitting that you failed is a step on the comeback trail.
One last day til tomorrow–
Sleepless nights filled with tears,
Just tell me where you’re going,
Tell me what will it take
To make you happy again.
Make you feel safe, make you feel secured–
The ending is just the beginning,
And tomorrow is here to stay.
I stand alone…

8. Reflections to Be

Remembering things from the days, that have gone past,
Did you think it would last–
My childhood pleasures and generous deeds
That were acted and cast.
Didn’t want to grow too old, too fast–
Reflections in me.
Now in the present time and day, in a world chocked by rage,
will I fade away?
The dreams that I’ve denied, too quick I surmised,
And I turned the page.
Will anyone hear a word I’ll say?
Reflections set free.
Will there be anything left to leave my own son,
When my days are done?
No way of knowing for sure, will he be simple and pure?,
Will his life be rich or poor?
The future to me seems bleak and obscure–
Reflections to be.

9. Hiding in the Sun

Hiding in the sun–
Relax and rest my old frail bones a bit,
Find a cool spot to sit.
No one knows if tomorrow will come,
But if i wake up, I’ll still hide in the sun.

10. Blown Away

Good things come to those who wait,
Or so they say,
Being recognized as one,
And only one, somehow, someway.
Condemned by the shadows– I can’t be found,
The walls will enclose me underground.
Your heart, it beats faster ‘n faster-
It flutters so fluently,
Your nerves will jar to the grotesque,
Your heart’s exploding, just can’t see.
Now you have seen your world before you–
your first blow will be your last.
Draining your dreams right down the tubes–
Obviously, you got the cash.
Idiotic, and stupid you are–
Incompetent you must be,
Supply and demand, you buy and sell
To neighborhood kids on the street.
Your heart, it beats faster ‘n faster–
It flutters so fluently,
A line,
A rock,
Lodged deep inside–
Your hearts exploding,
Just can’t be.
Pacing the floor,
You go back and forth–
A nervousness
So reckless and wild.
Your amped out,
Sit your ass down,
Just grind your teeth
And flash a smile,
You’re
Blown…
Away.
(REPEAT CHORUS)
